Rev. Augustine Kotee Jr.

Reverend Augustine Kotee Jr left his home country of Liberia in 1983 with his father seeking political asylum. He has served in various capacities as a mentor, volunteer, and business owner. He earned his BA degree from Berkeley College and his MBA focusing on HR Management from the University of Phoenix before finally answering the call to serve as the gospel minister. He earned his Master of Divinity Degree from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, NC.

 

After graduating from Hood Theological Seminary, Rev. Kotee Jr. completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education to qualify as a Hospital Chaplain. Novant Health employed him in Charlotte, North Carolina, as one of their staff chaplains. Rev. Kotee work as a Hospice Chaplain providing spiritual Counseling to families and their loved ones in Houston, TX. In addition to working as a Hospital Chaplain, Rev. Kotee, Jr. was Licensed and formally served as an Assistant Minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Salisbury District, Under the Eldership of Rev. Dr. Grant Harrison, Jr.

 

Rev. Kotee, Jr. took a sabbatical and spent one year away from his wife and four children. The leave would not have been possible without the loving support of his wife. During the assessment, God revealed that Liberia was “a Mission Field” just as any other mission field worldwide. God instructed Rev. Kotee to open a church and an education ministry for youth in His Home Land of Liberia. Due to this revelation, with prayer and fasting and with help, dedication, and the commitment of the youth of Margibi Community in Liberia, a Church of Jesus Christ was erected under the name Kingdom’s Temple International.

 

Upon his return to the United States, Rev. Kotee became licensed and ordained under the fellowship of Evangelical Church Alliance International.

 

Rev Augustine served as an innovative professional with over 25 years of progressive management, marketing, and sales experience in various industries, including transportation & logistics, healthcare, insurance, finance, and staffing.

 

Rev Augustine has made notable contributions in strategic planning, new business development, marketing, cost containment, budgeting & finance, customer relations, and personnel management.

 

He also has a proven track record of increasing revenues, streamlining workflow, and creating a team environment to increase productivity.

 

Most importantly, above all this, and foundational to the process of the ministry God has called him for, Rev. Kotee Has realized that the grace of God and the love of God, and the patience of God toward him are the relevant factors that mold him into God’s Workmanship.
